A few weeks ago, I was approached by one of my friends who lived with me in residence, who was interested in some family photos as her dad is going to be on a lot of business trips in the future and she wanted him to have some photos for when he was gone. We figured out a good day when everyone could get together and we selected Victoria Park in Kitchener as a location. We started out just before magic hour and strolled the park, taking photos in locations we enjoyed. I had a lot of fun with this shoot as the family had lot’s of great ideas and were very enthusiastic.
Any family that knows me cannot resist the urge to mimic the photo I took of my family which has graced the pages of awkward familyphotos.com and the Awkward Family pet photos book. I think their version turned out great and am very happy with the results. I’ve received a several emails from the family since they received them, stating their excitement with the photos. I am glad, that I had the opportunity to go out and shoot as I have not done anything really since I got my Camera back from repair. I hope to get some more blog posts and photos out but the reality of Computer Engineering at the University of Waterloo has stopped that from happening up until now.
