I am not a big fan of openly taking sides for elections especially when I know more then one candidate. I feel that if anyone asks me for support I will wear their button, join their facebook group and assist them if they need a favour. I keep my vote to myself and make an informed decision on voting day. After saying this I had a short photoshoot this morning with Matt Colphon who I met in first year through the Canadian Millennium Scholarship Foundation network. We see each other around campus all the time and so have kept in touch pretty well.
We used the blue backdrop mostly because it is easier to remove in photoshop since most of these shots will be going on campaign posters which are usually cutt outs.
For this shoot I was using three lights against a seamless paper back. A softbox camera left and an umbrella camera right with a bare WL800 behind the subject for a bit of rim.
