The Waterloo Varsity Figure skating Team traveled to Toronto recently to compete in the second competition of the 2010-2011 season.  I am on Co-Op this term so I was unable to attend the first day of competition, however I did take a bus up to Toronto for the second day.  From what I hear, the results of day 1 were not in our favour and so we had a long way to go in order to come back.  After a much stronger Day 2, Waterloo ended up climbing up to a tie for 5th with McGill.  It was a little disappointing, since we came 2nd overall at the first competition, but we are confident that we can pull up our socks for the OUA championships.

Victoria Bernardo – 3rd in Novice Women’s Short Program

Please also see the video of our synchro program. That’s the problem with having video on your still camera is that you have to pick one or the other.
